Early warning
Spot the pupils who need help, early
Chanceria looks at attendance, marks, behaviour and homework together and flags pupils who may need support, with the reasons spelled out.
What gets in the way
Each signal on its own looks survivable. It is the combination — a dip in marks, two detentions and a fortnight of Mondays — that nobody sees until it is late.
What it does
- Attendance, marks, behaviour and homework read together
- The reasons for every flag, in plain words
- Who is behind their target or their class, by subject
- Attendance follow-ups that track the DfE stages
What the AI does here
What it does
Explains why a pupil has been flagged and drafts the letter or note that follows.
What it can’t do
The flag itself is calculated by the software, so the same pupils are flagged whether the AI is on or off. It makes no pastoral decision.
All of this still works with the AI switched off. See exactly what the AI can see →
